NAKEDHOME

Nakedhome is a group of young designers which has been active for over 10 years. We’ve designed homes, offices, coffee shops, exhibition rooms, a lighting shop, an IT service shop, a press office, and hotel apartments; we particularly enjoy challenging and diverse tasks. Whether it’s housing, commercial or public unit design, we take the realisation of beautiful appearances very seriously - it is our most fundamental principle. This means that the design won’t be an expense on functionality and the implementation will be carefully supervised all the way from the idea to execution. We believe this is the only way to guarantee the realisation of the original concept. We look at your personal story and, with the tools of interior design, we capture this into a working and aesthetic form. With us, you can be sure that time will be allocated to everything required and your project will get the attention it needs so that you are proud of the final results.

Concept design

After measuring the property; considering your style and functional needs; and recognising your budget, we find similar examples to discover which direction to go. After this, we will create a furnished layout (the base of interior design) all future plans will be based on this. Once finalised, we create an interior photorealistic 3D visualisation (or a coloured sketch if you have a lower budget and a better imagination), which practically shows you the final result complete with furniture, coverings, textiles and lighting. 90% of the products featured in the visualisation are available in retail so thex are purchasable. This concept plan is not yet ready for implementation though - it’s only for showing functional solutions of the layout, colours, textures and their harmony. Contents: property technical measurement; photo documentation; survey of the style and functionality needs; moodboard (pictures of existing examples, colours, textures, moods); furnished layout variations; photorealistic visualisations with natural and artificial light, coloured visual sketches with closed built-in furniture for interpreting the space.

Technical design

After the accepted, final concept plan, we elaborate it as a clear implementation plan which will make it suitable for it to be built by a contractor as all it encompasses. Based on the plan, quantities are calculable, contractors can be called to account and the final results can be verified. Time, money and misunderstandings can be prevented with a technical plan during the construction. Without it, the imagined concept plan will never be the same as the visualisation. Contents: wall line marking layout; false ceiling layout; layout of electrical outlets; lighting design, layout of mechanical connections; finishing/flooring plan; interior door and window consignment; design and technical design of built-in furniture and unique structures (carpenter, locksmith, glazier etc.).

Site supervision

Despite an accurate technical plan and a great contractor team, construction is a drama where problems and questions often arise. Because of this, site supervision is an inevitable process to clarify queries on site to guarantee that questions and problems that appear during the construction will be made clear in accordance with the original plans.

General contracting

General contracting means that one contractor controls all the specialists and takes responsibility for everybody - this way you only have to consult them. This makes it easier because you don’t have to deal with specialists separately to call upon them, verify and organise them. General contracting is more expensive than hiring multiple specialists but in return you can spare time and headaches and the finished piece will look more like the original concept plan. In our projects during the last ten years, we have gathered a great team and therefore we gladly accept general contracting for interior spaces designed by us.
